At a minimum, the State law requires that when a single point or a line is staked by a surveyor, a plat is required to be drafted and filed with the County Surveyor. If this product is not provided as required by law you did not receive a certified survey.

A fence survey is not different than a property survey. They are actually the same product. The same amount of work is requred to identify one point or corner of your property as it is to set all of the corners of your property.
